Miztli is thrilled to be joining the cast of POLICE COPS:THE MUSICAL which will be playing at the New Diorama from November 22nd to December 23rd.

LADYLIKES short film How Does That Make You Feel won the best Dark Comedy Micro Film at the 2021 Houston Comedy Film Festival, and was part of the official selection for the 2021 Paris Film Festival, Women's Comedy Festival Atlanta, Canadian International ComedyFestival, Reno Film Festival and the Oaxaca Film Festival.

LADYLIKES have recently launched Empower Play: a series of comedy workshops designed to encourage confidence and connection through play.


Agent update: Miztli is now working with APM Associates.

Miztli felt very honoured to be one of 154 actors selected to read Shakespeare sonnets for The Jermyn Street Theatre. She read Sonnet 46, which can be viewed by clicking here.

Miztli joined online theatre company Coronavirus Theatre Club (featured in The Guardianand on BBC News) on the 20th April to do a live-streamed performance of comedy monologue Cutie Crotchets by Louise Breckon-Richards, directed by Louisa Sanfey. Miztli and Phoebe were guests on The Alternative Stories podcast on Friday 24th April. Go to iTunes to hear them chat about life under lockdown.

Miztli was pleased to get to the final of Comedy Swingers Party with her sketch team Uncle Cafe. The sketch competition featured some of the most esteemed character comedians and sketch teams. The Final has been postponed, but keep your eyes peeled!

Miztli joined the cast of Aaron and Julia, the debut show by On Point Productions. Originally scheduled to run at The Space in June, the show is currently postponed.

Upright Citizens Brigade

Miztli went to New York in November to study improv with world famous Improv school Upright Citizens Brigade.

Wherefore Theatre

Miztli joined Wherefore Theatre in their first production of A Midsummer Night's dream and played the roles of Hermia and Puck. The play was part of The Docklands Festival in London in September.

Ladies of F A County (Stars of Tomorrow)

Performed at The De Beauvoir Arms, Hackney N.1 in July.

Funny Women

Miztli and her comedy partner Phoebe Batteson-Brown were delighted to have been longlisted for the Funny Women short film award.


LADYLIKES took their debut sketch show, Top Secret House Party! to the Brighton Fringe Festival in May.

LADYLIKES launched a brand new all-female comedy night at The Water Poet, Folgate Street. Miztli and her sketch partner Phoebe were delighted to bring a night of comedy to Shoreditch in July, and showcased some of London's most exciting female talent!

LADYLIKES took their debut show Top Secret House Party! to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, where it played at Marlin's Wynd (Just the Tonic).

LADYLIKES went to the Canvas Cafe in December to host a night of comedy from some of London's finest female identifying comedians. All proceeds went to the charity Bloody Good Period

Also in December, LADYLIKES competed in their first ever New Act Competition at 2 Northdown, Kings Cross.

Bath Comedy Festival

Miztli was delighted to have been shortlisted for the Bath Comedy Festival's New Comedian of the Year.


Miztli was awarded her Advanced Harold certificate with The Free Association.

Creative Nights

The highly popular bi-monthly scratch night Creative Nights which Miztli founded in 2015 is currently in residency at The Star of Kings, Kings Cross.

Stand-up comedy

Miztli performed a 30 minute stand-up split show at City Cafe at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

Heroine Addicts live recordings

In July, Heroine Addicts hosted a live podcast celebrating Women in Sport at The Canvas Cafe, Hanbury Street, E1. Double Olympian Montell Douglass and Weebox co-founder Els Caballero Kosta were guest panelists. All proceeds went to the charity 'Women in Sport'.


Miztli made her directorial debut with NewsRevue at Canal Cafe Theatre this year.

Other People's Children

Miztli joined her first ever improv team - Other People's Children - in the New Year. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming gigs!

VAULT Festival

Miztli performed a work-in-progress version of her new solo show Stranger to Myself at VAULT Festival in January.

Heroine Addicts live recordings

Alice, Miztli and Emma outside Conway Hall

In October, Heroine Addicts Alice, Miztli and Emma hosted a live podcast 'So You Think You Can Chant: Activism, Protest and Making Change' at Conway Hall Library as part of this year's Bloomsbury Festival. Guest panelists were Sophie Yates Lu, Pascale Frazer-Carroll and Karen Hobbs. Check out the recording coming to itunes in November!


In October Miztli joined NewsRevue: the world's longest-running comedy show at The Canal Cafe Theatre in London, following in the footsteps of Alistair McGowan, Bill Bailey and Sara Pascoe. Take a look at NewsRevue's website by clicking here.

Omnibus Theatre

Miztli joined the cast of Blood Wedding which will run at Omnibus Theatre, Clapham, in September.

Soho Theatre

In May 2018 Miztli returned to Soho Theatre's comedy lab, this time with her sketch partner Phoebe Batteson-Brown.


Miztli is new to the stand-up scene and, having gigged around London and Brighton for the last three months, performed on the open spot circuit at this year's Edinburgh Fringe. She wrote her first full length show which she performed at The Piece Of Cake, Edinburgh Fringe.

Icarus Theatre Collective

Miztli played Lady Macbeth in Icarus Theatre Collective's production of Macbeth which toured the U.K and Ireland in March.

The Free Association

Miztli joined her first sketch team run by The Free Association and will contribute to monthly shows at The Camden Comedy Room.

Dangerous Space

Miztli becomes a member of 'Dangerous Space'. Dangerous Space is an all-female Shakespeare company led by director Barbara Houseman.

Soho Theatre

Miztli returned to The Soho Theatre Comedy Lab led by Alison Thea-Skot in December.

Trump's Women

Miztli was interviewed on London Live for the Lily Bevan plays: Trump's Women which were premiered at the 2017 Rada Festival. To see the interview, click here.

Christmas at Mildred's

In July, Christmas at Mildred's was performed at the 2017 Rada Festival as a rehearsed reading in the Guilgud Theatre.

The Pursuit of App-iness

My one-woman comedy show went to the 2017 Camden Fringe in August.


I was thrilled to have been cast in Dubailand; a new play by Carmen Nasr which had its world premier at the Finborough Theatre in February 2017. The play explores the plight of Dubai's migrant labour force and asks how much longer we can look the other way.

Heroine Addicts was launched in January this year and is a chat show celebrating female icons both real and fictional. Our heroines have so far included Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Bella Twins who are well known in the world of wrestling, the American singer, songwriter, guitarist and recording artist from the 1930's and 40's: the great Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Hermione Granger (who turned out to be a heroine we had all admired since childhood) and, in contrast, the mathematician Ada Lovelace: a fascinating woman who is regarded as something of a pioneer in the history of computing but isn't that well known... Christmas at Mildred's

I love working collaboratively on new writing and devised projects and a new comedy Christmas at Mildred's which was co-written with five other RADA graduates under our company name Dolly Grip Productions was great fun to work on. It was showcased in London at The Bread and Roses and The Hen and Chickens theatres in December 2016.

The Great Divide

In September, Miztli played the roles of Sadie, Sophie and Clara in the World Premier of Alix Sobler's play at the Finborough Theatre.
